How to Create a Memorial Page

Memorial Pages

A Memorial Page is a private online page that is created in memory of a loved one. It's a special space that you design to store life stories and memories that will last forever. These memories or shared life experiences can be created in the form of photos, videos or a personal message. These messages can be written and displayed by themselves or with a quote from our library.

You can create and save a memorial page as a draft for free. If you want to publish it and share it with others to contribute, then there is a small one-time fee to cover the costs of hosting the page and keeping it safe and secure.

Below is a guide on how to create and save a Memorial Page. If you have questions, you are welcome to contact our support team at anytime on

7 Steps to creating a Memorial Page

There are 7 steps to creating and saving a memorial draft page. This includes:

  1. Getting started with creating a Memorial Page
  2. Adding the name of the loved one you want to add a memorial page for
  3. Uploading a profile photo (Optional)
  4. Adding your email address
  5. Completing your Memorial Page profile
  6. Saving your Memorial Page (critical)
  7. Registering with / logging in to

1) Getting started - Creating a Memorial Page

On the homepage click on "Create a Memorial Page" on the top right corner. You can see the yellow arrow below pointing to this button.

2) Add the name and location of the loved one you are memorialising

Start by adding the first name, last name and city of the person that you are completing the page for. When you type in the city, we should be able to automatically pick up the city before you write the whole word. Just select the city when it comes up to save you some time.

Once you have done that, click on the "Next" button in the bottom right corner of the box.

3) Upload a profile photo (optional)

This will take you to a page where you can upload a photo of your loved one. If you don't have a photo of them to upload, that's absolutely fine, you can just click on the "Next" button. Otherwise, follow the instructions to upload their profile photo from your computer then click "Next".

4) Enter your email address

Next step is to enter your email address so that you can recover your memorial page when you need to. We will also email some guidelines and resources to help you complete the page. Once you have done this, click "Create" and the first draft of the page will appear.

5) Completing your Memorial Page profile

You have now created your memorial page. Next steps is to complete your Memorial Page by personalising it to how you want it. There are a number of areas that you can update which we have outlined in the points below:

  • Privacy Settings - in the top left-hand side, you can keep the page private (default setting) or you can select the page to be public. It is completely your preference and you have full control of this.
  • Name and location - If you have completed this already, there is nothing more to do here.
  • Date of birth / Date of Passing - enter these dates if you know them. If you don't know them you can leave them blank until you find out.
  • Profile picture - this can be added at any time if you haven't done that already.
  • Background Image - we have added in a number of background images that you can choose from. Feel free to select one that you like as a background image for the top of the page.

6. Save your Memorial Page

The final critical step is to make sure you save your draft page so that you can get back to it when you need to. To do this, click on the "Save as Draft" Button as shown in the image below.
